About WILLIAM ROAM

Green

To reflect our commitment to America’s purest, most pristine places, we’ve aligned with 1% For The Planet. We are proud to pledge 1% of all sales to environmental organizations. To learn more about 1% for the Planet and the work they do, click here.

Our membership in 1% for the Planet is the cornerstone of our sweeping environmental commitment. We have sought out and relied on energy sources that are clean and renewable. In fact, 100% of our manufacturing resources are offset with wind credits from our power company.

In everything we do, we make the right choices for the environment and the end user. William Roam does not use any of the following:

  1. Dangerous preservatives, such as parabens, formaldehyde (including DMDM Hydantoin); urea; or sensitizers and allergens such as isothiazolinones.
  2. Occlusive blockers and petroleum derivatives such as petrolatum and mineral oil.
  3. Endocrine-disrupting plasticizers such as phthalates.
  4. Harsh chelators such as Disodium EDTA.
  5. California Proposition-65-listed amines, such as DEA.

Our commitment to the earth doesn’t stop there. All of our soap and sundry cartons, business cards, and literature use 100% recycled paper, sourced from a company whose alternative energy of choice is biogas. In printing these materials, we exclusively use vegetable-based inks. We also plant a tree for every hotel room that stocks our Sense Collection through our partnership with American Forests, the oldest national nonprofit conservation organization in the United States. We are proud of the difference we are making for the environment and the planet.

Vegan & Cruelty-Free

We believe that choosing a path of ethical, environmental and philanthropic compassion is more than just buzzwords. From the products we make, throughout our partnerships and supply chains, to our charitable giving, William Roam is dedicated to manufacturing the highest-quality soaps, hair and body care items with care and integrity, in every aspect of our business.

Our entire collection of personal care products is vegan (free from animal ingredients) and cruelty-free, as awarded with the Leaping Bunny stamp of approval by The Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics’ (CCIC). This certifies all of our products to be free from animal tests under the International Humane Cosmetics and Household Products Standards.

The Leaping Bunny Program administers a cruelty-free standard and the internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Logo for companies producing cosmetic, personal care, and household products. The Leaping Bunny Program provides the best assurance that no new animal testing is used in any phase of product development by the company, its laboratories, or suppliers.

For the animals, for the environment, and for our health. Choose compassion and learn more about the Leaping Bunny logo and the CCIC organization at www.leapingbunny.org.
