2017 Shakespeare Festival
The Utah Shakespeare has been a part of Cedar City culture for 56 years. They present classic and contemporary plays in repertory, with Shakespeare as the cornerstone. USF currently features a season of plays running from the end of June thru October. During the summer portion of the season, the Festival offer a variety of six plays/musicals and they present three during the fall months.
The plays are enhanced by interactive festival experiences such as literary Seminars where patrons are encouraged to ask questions & listen to discussions about all aspects of the performances. Lunches with cast and crew, Backstage Tours, Pre-play Orientations, Production Seminars and free musical Green shows ensure an entertaining and enriching experience at the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
The Iron Gate Inn B&B is less than 2 blocks from the Shakespeare festival. Guests can leave their vehicles at the inn, and take a short stroll to the theatres and the Festival grounds.
